TRAVEL PROGRAM
Day 1 - Arrival in Rishikesh, the "Yoga Capital of the World" (3 October)
Welcome at New Delhi International Airport, transfer to Rishikesh. Arival to the Yoga Niketan Ashram. Introductory connection with the space and rest. Rishikesh is located in the foothills of the Himalayas where the sacred river Ganga touches the plain for the first time, bringing with it the strength, purity and blessing of the mountains. This ancient site has been a haven for centuries for saints, teachers, and seekers who come here to immerse themselves in silence, practice, and inner transformation and those who continue their pilgrimages to the Himalayas.
Day 2 — Puja Ceremony & Awakening into Rishikesh (4 October)
We begin our first full day in the sacred embrace of Rishikesh with a powerful yet gentle initiation into the spiritual essence of India. In the early morning, we gather for a traditional Puja / Havan (Agni Hotra) ceremony — a sacred fire ritual rooted in the ancient wisdom of Vedic tradition. In this ceremony, offerings such as herbs, grains, and ghee are made into the fire while mantras are chanted.
This day marks the opening of the energetic space of our journey — a conscious step from the outer world into a deeper, more subtle dimension of experience.
Days 3,4,5,6,7 & 8 — Full Immersion into Yogic Living (5-10 October)
With the rising sun, we enter the first full day of deep practice and embodied experience in the sacred atmosphere of Rishikesh. We begin early, before the world fully awakens, with a ritual bath in the holy Ganges River. This ancient practice is more than physical cleansing — it is an energetic purification, a symbolic release of what no longer serves, and a conscious opening to receive the flow of life with clarity and presence. From this sacred beginning, the day unfolds into a rhythm of meditation, yoga, pranayama, and traditional practices.

Day 9 — Pilgrimage to Badrinath (11 October)
On this day, we leave the gentle embrace of Rishikesh and begin our sacred pilgrimage deep into the Himalayas — a journey that marks a shift from inner immersion to a powerful outer quest through some of the most majestic landscapes on Earth. Our destination is Badrinath Temple, one of the most sacred pilgrimage sites in India, nestled high in the mountains. Dedicated to Vishnu — the preserver and sustainer of life — Badrinath has been a place of devotion and spiritual seeking for thousands of years.

Day 10 — Badrinath Darshan (12 October)
Awakening in the high-altitude silence of the Himalayas, we step into one of the most spiritually charged days of the journey - Badrinath Darshan.
The energetic magnitude of this day is profound. Many experience a heightened sense of clarity, emotional release, or deep inner peace.
What is Darshan?
• A sacred act of seeing and being seen by the divine
• A moment of direct connection with the deity
• Receiving blessings through presence, not words
• An opening of the heart to grace
Day 11 — Return to the Ashram (13 October)
After days immersed in the powerful stillness of the high mountains, we begin our journey back from the Himalayas to Rishikesh.

Days 12, 13, 14 &15 — Deepened Practice at the Ashram (14 - 17 October)
Returning to the sacred rhythm of Yoga Niketan Ashram, these four days open a space for integration, deepening, and inner strengthening. After the powerful pilgrimage to Badrinath Temple and the vastness of the Himalayas, this period becomes essential — a time to absorb, process, and embody everything that has been experienced so far. Each day follows a steady and nourishing rhythm of:
• Morning practices — meditation, yoga, pranayama, and ritual
• Teachings and guidance that deepen understanding
• Sattvic meals that support clarity and balance
• Space for rest, silence, and introspection
Day 15 — Sunrise & Completion (18 October)
On this morning, we rise early and make our way to a hill above Rishikesh, home to an ancient temple overlooking the valley. In silence, we await the sunrise — watching as the first light touches the Ganges River and the surrounding mountains. This moment becomes a symbolic completion of the journey — a new dawn, both outwardly and within. Day 15 also marks the departure for those completing the 15-day journey. It is a time of gratitude, reflection, and gentle closing — carrying the experience forward into everyday life, with a deeper connection to self and the path ahead.
Day 16 — Last Day in the Ashram (19 October)
Our final full day at Yoga Niketan Ashram unfolds with a sense of completion, gratitude, and quiet presence. After days of deep practice, transformation, and integration, this day offers a gentle closing of the ashram experience. We continue with morning meditation, yoga, and subtle practices, allowing the body and mind to remain in the rhythm we have cultivated — now with greater awareness, ease, and depth. There is a feeling of harvest in the air — a recognition of everything that has been lived, felt, and integrated throughout the journey.

Day 17 — Departure to Vrindavan (20 October)
With hearts grounded in the stillness of the ashram, we begin our journey from Rishikesh toward a very different, yet equally powerful spiritual landscape — Vrindavan. The drive takes us out of the Himalayan foothills and into the vast lowlands of India, where the scenery gradually transforms. The crisp mountain air softens into warm plains, and the rhythm of life becomes more dynamic, colorful, and alive. Along the way, we witness everyday India unfolding — villages, fields, temples, and the continuous movement of life in all its forms. As we approach Vrindavan, the atmosphere begins to shift in a subtle yet unmistakable way. Vrindavan is one of the most sacred pilgrimage centers in India, intimately connected to the life of Krishna — the embodiment of divine love, joy, and devotion.
Day 18 — Vrindavan & Evening Kirtan (21 October)
Kirtan is a form of collective chanting of sacred mantras, where voices, rhythm, and intention merge into a shared field of energy.
Through kirtan:
• The mind gradually quiets
• The heart begins to open
• Emotions can move and release naturally
• A sense of unity and connection emerges In the sacred atmosphere of Vrindavan, kirtan becomes more than music — it becomes a direct experience of devotion, a gateway into joy, presence, and expanded awareness.

Day 19 — Excursion to Agra — Taj Mahal (22 October)
A visit to one of the world's greatest symbols of love and beauty.

Day 20 — A Day in Vrindavan (23 October)
An extra day for temples, meditation, walks, kirtans, and personal practice.
Day 21 — Return to Delhi and Departure Home (24 October)
Ending the journey and going home filled with peace, gratitude and inner clarity.
